Warning for haters: IN INDIA, PWDVA recognizes marital rape includes all form of physical, sexual, emotional and economical violence… Its a myth that marital rape isn't recognized!!!!

Because we are portrayed though!!! Foreign media constantly attacking India to term it as rape capital but that's not true!!! Please read below
Now let me show you reality 27% of Europeans say rape may be acceptable in some circumstances [1] … it isn't unique to India it around globe…
Had u ever heard" NEW WOLF PACK" a gang which organizes gang rape in France and Spain....no because media don't show dark reality of so called safe places for women!!
Some of us are well known about SLUTWALK movement where a police men in Toronto said that women should not dress like sluts, it brings march of women in 40 different countries!!!! Actually the victim blaming mentality is a psychological problems which I will address in my next answer…

"Headphones don't rape women, nor do skirts, or dark streets, or clubs, or alcohol, or parties, or sleepovers, or school uniforms. This is case in UK where victim blaming is often challenged by women herself.. [2]
This picture will show you in which countries the chances of being raped is highest.
Ironically UNITED KINGDOM, and many Western countries who thinks INDIA is a rapist country, have much much higher RAPE rate than INDIA.
You have 6 times more chance of being raped in Bangladesh than in India, yet many Bangladeshis think India is a rapist country.
You have 9 times more chance of being raped in France than in India. Yet, France is the romance capital of the world and India is rape capital.
You have 15 times more chances of being raped in USA than in India.
You have 74 times more chances of being raped in South Africa than you are in India.
Stats are pretty amazing, couldn’t add Pakistan but both India and Pakistan have same rape rates of 1.8 and 1.7, earlier Pakistan had more rape rate than India.
Now the country (United Kingdom) and BBC which always claims India is a rapist country have rape rate of 19.1 while India has 1.8, yet they call India a rapist country.
India is ranked 94th out of 118 countries surveyed, YET, INDIA IS THE RAPE CAPITAL OF THE WORLD
Victim-blaming culture was seen in the aftermath of the recent Steubenville, Ohio trial in which two male high school football players were found guilty of raping a sixteen-year-old girl who was unable to consent to sexual activity after drinking alcohol at a party. Many individuals, both male and female, reacted to the trial and the guilty verdicts by harshly blaming the young woman for being raped, and declared the men’s innocence, despite the evidence against them. [3]
Dr . Jessica Taylor said” I was blamed a few years ago (2017) for being sexually assaulted by a stranger who I managed to fight off eventually and I was left with injuries. I ran for help and the man said to me ‘you must have provoked him’ and another said to me ‘it’s his birthday, he was just having fun’. [4]
Even in country like Russia and Ukraine, people blamed raped and sexual assaults victims which is absurd!!! Salomatov, a women's rights activist urged women to speak up, she told that she receive replies like this ~ "Women are afraid of being blamed -- by relatives, by society, and by the state," she said. "They're afraid to hear 'it's your own fault.” She added
“I understood that there's a huge number of rape cases in Russia that we don't know about, because women simply don't talk about it," she said. "What connected all these cases is that none of these women reported it to the police or their relatives."!!! [5]
Even Ukrainian social activist Anastasia Melnichenko decided to share her experiences of sexual violence, she says~
“ IamNotAfraidtoSay”:
“I want women to speak out today. I want us to talk about violence that many of us have experienced. […] We should not have to explain ourselves. We are not the guilty ones, the attacker is always guilty.”
A culture of silence exists In Russia and Ukraine when it comes to sexual violence. Views that women like to play the victim, or that they are personally responsible for being attacked because of their choice of clothing or their decision to walk alone at night, are deeply entrenched in society. Victims who turn to the police are often met with indifference or further humiliated by being required to provide solid proof.[6]
Also women's rights activist Melnychenko says" In cases like this in Ukraine, and throughout the post-Soviet world, people immediately start to question what the woman did wrong” …
“Maybe she was wearing a short skirt? Maybe she was walking home too late? Or maybe she was drunk? The suggestion is that a woman is guilty simply because she is a woman.”***[7]
In Saudi rape victims are being lashed out and jailed…Rape victim sentenced to 200 lashes and six months in jail~ The 21-year-old woman, who was 19 at the time of the attack and is known by the Saudi media as "the girl from Qatif", was raped 14 times by a gang of seven. Although her attackers were found guilty and sentenced to between 10 months and five years last year, she was simultaneously sentenced to 90 lashes as punishment for riding in a car with a man who was not a relative.[8] ..
Romania, more than 50 percent of all respondents said nonconsensual sexual intercourse was acceptable in some circumstances… In Belgium, for instance, 40 percent agreed that sexual intercourse without consent is justified in some circumstances, whereas only 15 percent said so in neighboring Netherlands… now let me show u one .more thing:
Is this victim blaming thing present only in India? NO!!! THERE ARE BASTARDS PRESENT IN ALL CULTURES!!!

In France almost 4 million have been raped once in their life almost 12% population and this excludes marital rape!!!! Marlène Schiappa, France culture minister said" In France, if a woman is sexually assaulted, her first thought is, ‘Now I’m dirty and no one will ever want to marry me’ – the social responsibility of the victim,” [10]
42 million people living in USA says, they suffer sexual abuse during childhood, 1 in 3 girls are sexually abused before the age of 18. [11]
750K Britain men have interest in having sex with children by national crime agency… According to Theresa May “Child abuse in the UK runs far deeper than you know” … [12]
The CDC estimates that nearly 2 million adult American women were raped in 2011 and nearly 6.7 million suffered some other form of sexual violence, the NCVS estimate for that year was 238,000 rapes and sexual assaults. 1 in 5 is Being raped [15]
Even in US there is problems like police didn't believe victims and even blamed them [16]
Sexual assault cases are higher in police also in US like states, In more than 60 percent of the cases reviewed, an officer was convicted of a crime or faced other consequences. More than 500 officer arrests for sexual misconduct over a three-year period. Even cops fondled prisoners, made false traffic stops of attractive women, traded sexual favors for freedom, had sex with teenagers and raped children. [17]
Prisoner in US are reporting sexual violence, more than 80,000 prisoner reported in hands of prisioner staff [18]
Half of all UK teenagers have experience sexual violence at age of 14.. isn't it frightening… Not only this in France sex with a child is rape only if prosecutors prove it is non consensual, recently a 29 year old man was not charged for rape with having sex with 11 year old girl, even French girl, 11, 'not a child' say lawyers for man, 29, accused of sexual abuse
Their age of consent is 15 only whereas India allows capital punishment for child rape under age of 12..
85% of intimate partner violence wasn't reported to police in Europe.. u have to believe that!! Revealed by EUROPEAN UNION agency for fundamental rights…
The FRA survey revealed that Ireland has the second highest number of women avoiding places or situations for fear of being assaulted out of all EU countries. 33% of Irish respondents thought that violence against women was very common, and 50% thought it was fairly common. 41% of Irish women know someone in their circle of family or friends who have experienced intimate partner violence (FRA, 2014).The survey estimates that 213,000 women in Ireland have been severely abused by a partner. [19]
In Sweden 3 men raped and 15 year old girl and insert wine bottle in her private part but u knw what court says about this" The court’s ruling—and their suggestion that the girl’s refusal to open her legs might have been a sign of "shyness" [20]
In USA 80% of sexual assault and college rape go unreported to police… [source: US Department of Justice programs]…
23% of college females in America feel unwanted sexual contact [21] 26% of female seniors said they had experienced it at some point during their four years in college. At some of the country's most elite schools, that number climbed even higher: 34% for University of Michigan female seniors, 32% at Yale and 29% at Harvard.[22] And many are unreported!!!!
51% of students were sexually harassed in 2016 in Australia Only 9% of those who had been sexually assaulted on campus reported it to their university, one of the “incredibly damning” figures that advocacy groups said demonstrated [23]
One third females in UK are sexual abuse or assaults in their life time… [24] PEDOPHILES( interest to have sex with children) is very high in UK…
In US about 1 in 10 children is sexually abused.. there are also enough unreported cases in US, EUROPE!!!!
Police are reporting that nearly 30K CASES FR 2013 has been seen where children are doing sexual assault, harassment in England and Wales!!! This includes rapes in schools and primary school playgrounds!! [25]
Nearly 248000 children are married in USA.. [BETWEEN 2000 - 2010]… 77% were minor girls… [26] 74 year old men married a girl of 12 years old!!!!
18900 military members Experience unwanted sexual contacts, 4.3 percent of active women faced it!!! Only 43% reported…
These no. Are not just well.. there are many unreported cases too!!! . Not just this there are thousands of studies conducted here but people are only targeting India!!!
Not just this, millions of people In both US and UKs have been poor or hungry but we are obsessed with India!!!
